Youth Sailing Golf Tournament
This annual golf tournament is the primary funding source for the Cape Fear Yacht Club's non-profit summer Youth Sailing program. Famous for the prime rib dinner and yacht club hospitality, this annual event is not to be missed by area golfers. Always held on Columbus Day (October 13th, 2025), the area provides beautiful weather and the Oak Island Golf Club the perfect golf course by the sea.
Check-in begins at 11, shotgun start at noon with festivities to follow at the Cape Fear Yacht Club.
Adopt-A-Highway 4th Q
Join us for a safety brief at 0830 before we comb Fish Factory Road for misplaced potential marine debris. Help us make our neighborhood sparkle as we pick up the remnants of the King Mack tournament. Penn Parrish always makes the volunteers a delicious breakfast. Commodore’s Ball 2025
Join the outgoing and incoming commodores for a special evening recognizing the achievements of the club in the previous year with a nod toward the upcoming year and incoming volunteers. A semi-formal event with everyone dressed and ready to impress.
The 2025 Commodore’s Ball will be held at the Southport Community Building on Friday November 7th with dancing and fine dining. RSVP information will be forth coming. Your event chair is Susan Forsyth.
CFYC Annual Meeting
Time to vote in the new slate of officers and report out on the achievements of 2025. Send in your proxies if you cannot make it. Quorum is a requirement of getting business done.
