CFYC Youth Sailing Leadership Team

Officers - 2025-2026

Our Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are elected by membership annually. The Fleet Captain is appointed by the Chair. The term for each position is two years and can be renewed (no more than three consecutive terms).

  • The Chair presides over all club meetings and performs any other duties delegated by the Trustees.

  • The Vice Chair performs all duties of the Chair when the Chair is unable and any other duties delegated by the Trustees.

  • The Secretary keeps minutes of all member and trustee meetings, maintains corporate records, and performs any other duties delegated by the Trustees.

  • The Treasurer maintains financial records, generates reports, and performs any other duties delegated by the Trustees.

  • The Fleet Captain manages the corporation’s fleet assets.

In addition to the five officers, two trustees serve a one-year term. Each seat is elected by membership on an overlapping basis and can be renewed (no more than two consecutive terms).
